'Yoga is the journey
of the self,
through the self,
to the self'.
Baghavad Gita
For me yoga is a path of self enquiry: not something I perform but somethig I embody.

It is a practice that invites me to listen - a way of meeting myself through the body. It is about being rather than doing.

My approach to yoga
My teaching is grounded in a thorough and in-depth yoga training, and shaped by years of personal practice.

My path has led me beyond alignment and technique alone. Through my work as a somatic coach, I’ve come to see the body not just as something we move, but as something we learn from.

In my classes, I invite students to:
-
move with awareness rather than force
-
follow sensation rather than instruction alone
-
notice patterns, habits, and preferences held in the body
-
explore different ways of inhabiting a pose, and themselves.

A practice with a theme, and a soul
My classes are always themed.

Sometimes the theme is drawn from the archetypes of the feminine - goddesses, wild women, protectors, seekers - as a way to explore strength, softness, boundaries, intuition, and power.

At other times, the themes centre on confidence, freedom, and self-trust, including freedom from conditioning, rules, and habitual ways of moving, thinking, and being.
Who my classes are for
My classes are especially suited to you if you:
-
want a thoughtful, embodied practice
-
enjoy depth, nuance, and meaning
-
are interested in how yoga relates to your life beyond the mat
-
are curious about yoga as a tool for self-awareness, not just fitness
-
want to feel more at home in your body.
All bodies and levels are welcome.
