THE 3-DAY PAUSE
BEFORE YOU SET ANOTHER INTENTION.
A 3-day exploration of the automatic behaviours and unconscious patterns that make your intentions hard to follow through.
Set better goals. Make plans. Find the right system. Build better habits. Be more disciplined.
We hear a lot of this every January. And I am frustrated as hell about it.
The beginning of a new year is the perfect time for setting intentions and doing vision boards. It feels good. We believe we can hit the reset button and make a new start, leaving behind whatever has not worked before.
Only to find out it still does not work.
When we abandon our resolutions, as most of us do, we tend to blame ourselves. But the truth is that we don’t abandon our resolutions because we don’t care, or we’re lazy, or we didn’t want it badly enough.
We abandon them because when pressure hits – and it will, because change is hard – you don’t follow intentions. You default to habitual behaviours and ways of being you’ve been practicing for decades.
Because conditioning feels safer than change. And belonging and fitting in matter more than our own desires.
So the problem isn’t that we set intentions or do vision boards. It is that we set intentions on top of deep patterns that are way stronger than our intentions.

What this exploration is (and isn't) about
This challenge is not about setting better goals, finding the right system, becoming more disciplined, or designing your ideal future self.
It is about:
-
Seeing the pattern that gets in the way of your intentions – without shame or self-blame
-
Understanding why those patterns exist (and what they protect)
-
Recognizing the cost of staying the same
-
Knowing what needs to loosen before change is possible.
This is for you if:
-
You are tired of hoping ‘this year will be better’.
-
You’ve set intentions before and watched them collapse only a few weeks later.
-
You're done with motivation and productivity hacks - you need to understand yourself differently.
-
You sense that the problem isn’t motivation or discipline - but something deeper.
-
You're willing to look at what you're still doing (that gets in the way), not just what you want to start doing.
-
You feel change requires more than a plan - but you're not sure what's missing.
-
You’re ready to understand yourself differently, not fix yourself
How the pause unfolds
This is a short, gentle exploration designed to fit into real life, not something you need to organise your days around.
Over three days, you’ll receive one short video each morning (around 10–15 minutes). You can watch it when it suits you, over coffee, during a quiet moment, or whenever you have a little space.
Each video offers a reflection and/or practice and a few simple prompts to help you notice your patterns and conditioning more clearly. There’s nothing to complete or submit, and no pressure to “do it right”.

On the third day, we’ll come together for a live 90-minute group call (January 28th, 7pm UK time). This is a space to deepen what you’ve noiced, ask questions, and connect the dots - not a teaching-heavy session, but a shared inquiry.
If you can’t attend live, a recording will be available.
Dates
-
Videos sent: January 26th, 27th, 28th (they will be in your inbox by the time you wake up)
-
Live call on Zoom: January 28th, 7–8.30pm (UK time).
Contribution: £18
This is intentionally priced to be accessible - a way to pause, reflect, and begin seeing things more clearly, without committing to anything further.

This pause isn’t about changing your life in 3 days. It’s about seeing why change has been harder than you thought.
